Hello! I am Zachary Anderson, a postdoc at ETH Zurich in the Systems Group. Check out those links over there on the right to get some idea of what I'm currently up to.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. My research advisor was Eric Brewer.

For my dissertation, I worked on the concurrency checking component of the Ivy Compiler, called SharC (said "shark"), with some folks at Intel Research, Berkeley. I also hung out with the OSQ folks, and the ParLab folks.

I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, home of the 2009 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, where I grew up in Upper St. Clair and studied Computer Science at Carnegie-Mellon University.
