About me

I studied communication systems at EPFL (BSc and MSc), specialized in information security and completed a minor in the management of technology and entrepreneurship. Starting from 2008 I was involved in multiple projects in collaboration with the Nokia Research Center in Lausanne. During this time, I had the opportunity to dive into pervasive computing and contextual analysis. We were strongly encouraged to gather some experience from the industry and I had the chance to have internships at NEC C&C Innovation Research Laboratories in Nara, Swisscom Strategy & Innovation in Ostermundingen and the Nokia Research Center in Lausanne.

During my time at EPFL, I was involved in the I&C teaching committee as a students' representative starting from 2008 until my graduation in 2012.

In November 2012 I joined the Institute for Pervasive Computing as a research assistant
