		crash non IEEE-compliant floating-point arithmetic

3.0           input points are not copied anymmore and accessed
		in a read-only fashion from an arbitrary container;
		this results in a substantial speedup if a fast
		container (such as a twodimensional array) is used;
		the coordinate type (previously only double) can be 
		chosen by the user; no version with static dimension
		anymore;
