About Me

Since January 2009, I am a PhD student in ETH Zürich at the Computer Vision and Geometry Group (CVG) under the supervision of Professor Marc Pollefeys. My research topic is "Visual SLAM for Autonomous Vehicles". Before joining ETH, I worked as a Member of Technical Staff at DSO National Laboratories in Singapore from August 2007 to December 2008.

I received both my M.Eng and B.Eng (1st Class Honours) degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the National University of Singapore (NUS) on February 2008 and June 2005 respectively. My M.Eng thesis "Sensors-based localization of a mobile robot" and B.Eng final year thesis "Navigation of a mobile robot in an unknown environment" were both completed under the supervision of Associate Professor Marcelo H. Ang Jr.
