Research Interest My research interest and the focus of my doctoral thesis was in the area of "computer science and education", especially in the development and use of interactive learning environments. For more information see my publications and presentations, the InfoTraffic project page, or check out the software online available along with teaching material. I am further involved in the MATCHIX project. I was a member of the Distributed Systems Group at ETH Zurich from april 2005 to october 2007. Before I was in the by march 2005 dismantled group for teacher education and computer science of Prof. Dr. Werner Hartmann.

Forum for Women in Computer Science From April 2003 to September 2007 I was co-heading the forum for Women in Computer Science (Frauenförderung). Its primary goal is to increase the number of female cs-students. The number of female students in our departement is currently only at around 10% and in Switzerland only 12% of the employees in IT are females. Our forum organizes and runs numerous events and programs, both for female high school students and for female students of the departement.

I was a representative of the assistants in the departement conference (Departementskonferenz) and the tuitional committee (Unterrichtskommission).
