Infrastrukturen für die Verwaltung von Sensordaten

Abstract

Mit der zunehmenden Verbreitung mobiler vernetzter Sensorknoten wächst auch die Datenmenge, die durch diese Sensoren erzeugt wird. Um die erfassten Daten effizient zu verwalten und für Benutzer und Anwendungen zur Verfügung zu stellen, sind geeignete Software-Infrastrukturen notwendig. Diese Seminarbeitrag soll die Anforderungen an solche Infrastrukturen analysieren, existierende Lösungsansätze evaluieren sowie aktuelle Probleme in diesem Bereich diskutieren.

You really want some more? Good, then check out pachube or this cool pamphlet about urban computing.

Tips

You should read these papers carefully, and try to identify the biggest challenges faced by ubiquitous applications, in particular with current technologies. Afterwards try to synthesize your findings and state clearly the different applications of web technologies for physical computing applications. Also, please contrast the different works here, and try to isolate the main differences and aspects between them, and it will be important to state the motivations and solutions used to solve the challenges they suggest. Also, I suggest that you read the papers in the number order given here. You shall check this short document for general tips.
