The Matrix Environment as Enhancement to Modeling
and Simulation
Abstract
In any future standard for continuous simulation languages, it is of
primary importance that the data and program structures are made
general and flexible enough. In this paper, the use of matrix
structures in modeling and simulation and the impact of matrix
environments on the design of simulation languages and their
experimental frames will be discussed.
