Title: Problems and results in lattice point counting

Abstract:
This is a survey talk on efficient counting of lattice points in  
polyhedra and beyond. I plan to talk about situations where we are 
able to count lattice points efficiently, where we would like to 
be able to count lattice points, where it is provably hard to count 
lattice points but we would like to do that anyway.
