I am a postdoctoral researcher in Zhendong Su's group in the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zürich. In November 2024, I defended my doctoral thesis in the same group. My work is supported by the SNSF grant Advancing a Novel Programming Language for Computer Science Education.
My work focuses on innovative approaches for teaching computer science, in particular how programming languages that implement visual semantics can benefit beginners. Much of my research is on the visual language Algot, which uses live programming and programming by demonstration to make it easier to understand and manipulate the program state.
