The main themes of the workshop are Geometric Combinatorics and Optimization. Our objective is to bring together researchers from various fields of mathematics contributing to these themes, such as algebra, combinatorics, geometry, topology, algorithms and complexity. We hope to outlay a broad picture of interactions and to promote new directions that rely on the exchange between these diverse fields. About 15 invited one-hour talks by prominent researchers are planned.
